Whether your child is picking up a rugby ball for the first time or joining us from another club, we’re passionate about helping every player develop their skills, build confidence, and fall in love with the greatest game on earth.
At Brothers, we believe rugby teaches more than just sport – it develops character, lifelong friendships, and values that extend far beyond the field. Our club is built on a foundation of strong rugby principles and vibrant community spirit, where every family is welcomed into the Brothers family.

The Modified Rugby Program (MRP) is an innovative touch-only rugby program developed by GingerCloud Foundation, where each boy and girl with a learning and perceptual disability has their own club PlayerMentor supporting them on the field. This groundbreaking initiative moves children with learning and perceptual disabilities off the sidelines and into the main game as valued members of our junior rugby community.
Brothers Rugby Club is incredibly proud to be the founding club of this program, which started with just one team of 16 participants in 2014. Today, MRP has grown to 23 teams operating across 17 clubs in Queensland and the ACT – a testament to the power of inclusion in rugby.
MRP – MODIFIED RUGBY PROGRAM

MRP Divisions:
MRP Junior – Ages 7-13 years, individually paired with a PlayerMentor
MRP Colts – Ages 14-19 years, individually paired with a PlayerMentor
MRP 7s – Ages 8+, supportive team environment for experienced MRP players
Built on the core values of inclusion, responsibility, reciprocity, commitment, community engagement, and continual improvement, MRP embodies everything Brothers stands for as THE FAMILY CLUB.
To register, visit www.gingercloud.org for eligibility criteria and registration process. The MRP was developed by GingerCloud Foundation founders Megan and Anthony Elliott from our own club community, in partnership with the QRU.
