Brothers Rugby fields five teams in the QRU Premier Rugby and Division One competitions as well as three Colts teams and 2 Friday Night teams in the Suburban Competition. In the 2012 season, seven out of nine Brothers teams competed in the finals series with Division One 1st Grade and both teams in the Suburban competition competing in the respective grand finals.
Faith City Worship Centre was established in 2001 with a membership base of 30 members. Former Brothers player Peni Volavola took over as Senior Pastor in 2007 and since the membership has now grown to over 150. The centre has a capacity of only 100 people and therefore there is a need to establish a new building.
The support of the Nundah community and the Fijian community provide a great opportunity for the Faith City Worship Centre to grow. Joining forces with one of the most successful rugby clubs in Australia will ensure they reach their target of raising funds to build a community facility.
Sevens is the exciting style of rugby that everyone loves to watch and now with its inclusion in the next Olympic Games the Australian Rugby Union is putting a greater emphasis on the development of a sevens program.
There are a number of tournaments being conducted during this period culminating in the iRB World Series Tournament on the Gold Coast on the 12th-13th October.
Below are a list of tournaments which form a Tri Series;
